Routine
Includes an overall body posture examination. Effleurage and Petrissage techniques to warm the muscles, loosen adhesions of muscle bulk, and increase circulation, depending on area there may be passive and active stretches, soft tissue relief techniques, myofascial release techniques, neuromuscular techniques, and muscle energy techniques. All dependent on the area requiring attention.
Treatment can be provided for lower limb injuries, upper leg and hip, shoulder and upper extremity,
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
A gentle massage which in intended to encourage the natural circulation of the lymph through the body, effective for people with lymphedema/oedema or widespread diffuse swelling because of injury.
Pre Event Massage
Create a state of readiness of the muscles that are going to be used. Includes briskly applied percussive movements to strike or tap the muscles for an invigorating effect, this will stimulate the muscle, reducing tension, increasing flexibility, whilst decreasing anxiety and enhancing focus and concentration. Perfect to have done before a sporting event.
Post Event Massage
When the sport is finished, focusing on the muscles that were used, assisting with the cool down process, relaxing tight muscles, stimulating circulation, reduce soreness, and minimise fascial adhesions
